Some of the best Friendships start with a Hello!

  • How long are the full day courses?
The full-day courses ( level 1, level 2 and disaster planning) range from 7-8 hours to cover all the content, some days can run a bit longer depending on the size of the class and how many questions I have to answer.
  • What is the benefit to hosting over being a student?
I love this question. First off hosts receive 1 free spot per 10 students. usually, the host takes the free spot to learn the content too, it's a great opportunity. You can receive the Safe Facility Certification if you host level 1, level 2 and disaster planning where you get free advertising on my site as well as Equi-health Canada's website. Hosts also get networking opportunities, and advertising on all my social pages up to the date of the class.
  • I want to host a course what do i need to do?
First off great question! and I'm so happy you want to host a course. The best way to find out is to send me an email so I can answer all your questions. I need to have access to a couple of sane horses for demos and practice during scenarios, washroom(s) and shelter from the elements and a space to play the powerpoint presentation. The courses can range from anywhere from 1-20 students depending on the size of your facility, your preferences and how many horses you have that you are comfortable sharing.
  • How do I register for a course?
Click on the courses tab on the top of my website on desktop, if you are on mobile click on the hamburger (the three lines) at the top of your screen and scroll to courses and click on that. find the course you want to register for and enter your information and submit the form.
  • I want to take a course but there are no courses I can make it to?
That is totally okay! I am happy to teach one-on-ones! Send me an email at info@naturalpresence.ca and we can book a day that works for you! feel free to let me know if you want to come to my barn or if you prefer I come and teach you with your horse.
  • If I register for a course can I get a refund if I can't make it?
All deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to another course or date that works better for you. Full refunds are given by the discretion of the instructor if you have a crisis.
  • How do I schedule an appointment?
If you are booking your first appointment please text or email me so I can get you into my books. If you are looking to book after your first appointment please log-in or create an account on equi-pro connect owner portal https://www.equiproconnect.com/Owners
  • What is included in a session?
Each session is unique so there's a bit of variation. Each session includes massage, static and dynamic assessment (in-hand or under saddle) and structural integration as needed and Kinesiology. Other additions will be discussed with the owner when it is appropriate.
  • Do you only treat horses who compete?
Absolutely not! if it has 4 legs and a tail I will be happy to work with you!
  • Do you travel?
Yes!! I love travelling to new barns! Depending on the distance and the number of horses booked for that day, it is on a case-by-case basis and depending on interest we can turn it into a clinic. for more information please email Tally at info@naturalpresence.ca
  • How long does each session last?
Each session is approximately 60 minutes, sometimes I will go over the allotted time so keep that in mind when you are booking an appointment.
  • how do I help my horse get the most out of a session?
I recommend to each client to walk your horse before and after a session for about 10 minutes and it's best to turn them out after. Often I recommend not riding until 24 hours after a session although new research has shown that it can be beneficial on a case-by-case basis.
  • How should I prepare for a session?
I tell my clients to prepare their horses similarly to how you would get ready for yourself, I find its easier for the horse if they have a full tummy before the session so they can focus on what i am doing, find a nice calm area out of the way, brush the dirt and debris off and walk for 10 minutes to gently warm up the muscles prior to the session. Please refrain from using show sheen, canter or other coat conditioners.
  • Do you still have more questions than answers?
If you have further questions please don't hesitate to send me an email at info@naturalpresence.ca with all your questions and I will answer your questions personally.
